As a coeliac AND a vegetarian eating out can be a nightmare.

Gone are the days of grabbing a sarnie at lunchtime, or ordering a pizza to share with friends, or enjoying a cool beer on a sunny afternoon.  Everything is that little bit tougher.  Everything requires a little bit more planning.

Even enjoying a pub lunch is a long gone dream (apparently vegetarian roast dinner option must include pastry, and don’t even get me started on the gravy!)

As I work eat my way around London and the rest of the UK, I shall make notes of those restaurants which happily cater for us (awkward) gluten free veggies.

Try Green Note in Camden… Great (veggie) food and great live music from all over the world… I didn’t ask about gluten-free but looking at the menu, there are definitely plenty of options!

“Green Note is an independent live music venue and vegetarian café-bar, located in Camden Town, London (less than 5 mins walk from Camden Town tube station).”
